Organic performance for creators: show your reach on TikTok and Instagram and earn more

Connect TikTok and Instagram, show brands how your content performs organically and earn extra with organic posts and Spark & Partnership Ads.

Creator profile with TikTok and Instagram logos, followers, views and engagement

Brands increasingly choose creators by reach. They don't just want a great video, they also want to know how your content performs with your own followers on TikTok and Instagram. With organic performance you can now show that on your UGC.NL profile.

In this blog you'll read what brands see of your account, how they find you and how to earn extra with organic posts and Spark & Partnership Ads in three steps. Are you a brand? Then read our blog for brands.

TL;DR

  • Connect TikTok and/or Instagram in the app via Profile › Socials or in the dashboard via Settings › Socials.
  • Brands then see your views, engagement, latest posts and, on Instagram, your audience.
  • Brands find you through the organic performance filters in Find creators, but only if your account is connected.
  • In your portfolio and custom packages you offer the Organic post and Spark & Partnership Ads add-ons, at your own price.
  • You only post after the job has been approved, then share your links or Spark Ads code in the order.
What is organic performance?

Organic performance shows how your posts perform without an ad budget: how many views you get, how engaged your followers are and who your followers are. To do this, you connect your TikTok and/or Instagram account. We then fetch your numbers automatically every day.

What do brands see on your profile?

Your profile has an Organic performance tab. Per platform, brands see:

  • Content performance: your expected CPM, your average engagement per post and your views per post over your last 30 posts.

  • Account insights: including your number of followers, your reach rate and how often you post.

  • Latest posts: your most recent videos, with the views and ERV per post.

  • Audience: on Instagram, your top countries, top cities and the split by age and gender.

So you don't need a huge account. With 15,000 engaged followers and a high ERV you can be more interesting to a brand than an account with 200,000 followers that gets few reactions. ERV stands for engagement rate by views: your likes, comments, shares and saves divided by your views.

How brands find you

On the Find creators page, brands can now filter by organic performance: platform, number of followers, average views per post and engagement (ERV). Only creators with a connected account appear in those results. If you don't connect, brands searching by reach won't see you.

Brands filter by followers, views per post and engagement in Find creators

Step 1: connect your TikTok and/or Instagram

In the app, go to Profile › Socials, or tap Connect in the banner on your home screen. In the dashboard you'll find it under Settings › Socials. Log in to Instagram or TikTok and give permission. We never see your password.

For Instagram you need a creator or business account. Switching is free: open Instagram, go to Settings › Account type and tools and choose Switch to professional account.

Connect your socials with Instagram and TikTok connected and what brands get to see

Once connected, we automatically fetch your followers, views per post and engagement every day. Brands see these numbers on your profile under Organic performance and find you through the filters in Find creators. They don't simply see your username, a link to your profile or your messages.

Step 2: offer add-ons in your packages

In the app, go to Profile › Packages, or in the dashboard to My portfolio, and edit a package. In the Add-ons step you switch on what you want to offer:

  • Organic post: you also post the video on your own Instagram and/or TikTok account. You choose the platform, story or feed post, the number of posts and how long a feed post stays up.

  • Spark & Partnership Ads: the brand runs ads with your video through your TikTok (Spark Ads) and/or Instagram/Facebook (Partnership Ads). You choose a duration of 30, 60 or 365 days.

Add-ons in a portfolio package: Organic posts and Spark & Partnership Ads with duration and price

You set the price per add-on yourself. If you leave the price empty, the add-on is included in the price of your package. For Spark Ads you need a connected TikTok account, for Partnership Ads a connected Instagram account.

You can also add add-ons to a custom package, the tailor-made offer you create for a client. And if a brand asks for an organic post or Spark & Partnership Ads in a job post, you set your own price for it in your proposal.

Spark Ads and Partnership Ads: how it works for you

Creator profile with the Meta and TikTok logos

With Spark Ads and Partnership Ads, a brand advertises with your video from your account. Viewers see your name and profile picture on the ad. So you get paid for your content and for the use of your account.

  • Spark Ads (TikTok): you post the video on TikTok, create a Spark Ads code and share that code in the order. The brand uses it to set up the ad.

  • Partnership Ads (Instagram and Facebook): the brand sends a request to your Instagram account. You accept it in the Instagram app. No posting is needed for this.

  • Duration: 30, 60 or 365 days. You choose this yourself in the add-on.

Step 3: publish your posts and share your links or codes

When a brand orders a package with add-ons, you only publish the posts after the brand has approved the job. Then you share the links to your posts in the order. For Spark Ads you post the video on TikTok and share the Spark Ads code. Keep the video online for at least the agreed duration, otherwise the ad stops. For Partnership Ads you accept the brand's request in the Instagram app.
