Delete data

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Meta Platform Terms, you have the right to have all personal data we have collected about you deleted. On this page, you can read how to do that.

Delete Meta data (Facebook & Instagram)

Have you linked your Meta Business account to UGC.CO.UK and would you like us to delete all data we have retrieved via the Meta Marketing API? You have two options:

Option 1 — Disconnect your Meta account

Log in to your UGC.CO.UK dashboard and go to Integrations. There, click Disconnect next to Meta. We automatically delete your Meta data within 30 days of disconnection.

Option 2 — Send us an email

Send an email to privacy@ugc.nl with the subject “Request Meta data deletion” and include the following in the email:

• Your Facebook user ID or the email address of your UGC.CO.UK account
• The name of your Meta Business account
• Confirmation that you want all Meta data to be deleted

We confirm your request within 5 business days and delete your data within a maximum of 30 days of the request. You will receive a confirmation by email once the deletion has been completed.

Delete your entire UGC.CO.UK account

Would you like to delete not only your Meta data, but your entire UGC.CO.UK account including all personal data? Then send an email to privacy@ugc.nl with the subject “Request full account deletion”. Include the following:

• The email address with which you are registered
• Whether you have a creator account, a business account or both

Please note that we are legally required to retain some data for longer (such as invoice data — a 7-year retention obligation according to the Tax and Customs Administration). This data is anonymised as soon as the statutory period allows.

Which data is deleted

In the case of a full deletion request, we delete:

• Your account details (name, email, address, phone)
• Your profile and portfolio data
• Your linked Meta Business Manager and Ad Account IDs
• All retrieved campaign and video performance metrics via the Meta API
• Your communication via the platform
• Your preference settings

What is retained (on the basis of a legal obligation or legitimate interest):

• Invoice and transaction data (7 years — tax retention obligation)
• Aggregated, non-traceable statistics for internal analysis
